Took this with Tokina 11mm. A superwide angle lens is the only way to photograph the arch. In postprocessing, using LightZone, I applied an infrared B/W filter with dialed-down opacity.

Studio portrait with Rembrandt lighting to Aidan’s left via monolight and softbox and a white board reflector placed to his right for fill. Cropped close, converted to B/W, touched up done in post production.

Aidan gave me about five minutes of cooperation (which was a rare gift) to take some photos of him at the Four Rivers Environmental Education Center in Channahon, IL. The cloud cover made for nice diffuse lighting and the head wind kept Aidan’s hair off his face. I shot about 80 frames in less than 5 minutes. This was a keeper.
